Great fit, Phil. As for a little lifting of the sleeve when you raise your hand up - this happens on any A2, and I noticed the thinner and lighter the leather, the more often it can happen. Thicker skin prevents the sleeve from rising too much and seems to return it to its original position when the arm goes down.

I know what you mean about back length Brett but as I'm a Jimmy Stewart fan I'll take that comparison. I've not noticed sleeve lifting as a problem @Flightengineer but the leather is quite thick so that must be it. Never thought about that making the difference.

To keep the natural order of things in balance round these parts I've gone for a quizzical look today with my GW RW23380. Comments on fit would be appreciated. It's just a tick short in the body and arms but on the boundary I reckon and it's not uncomfortable. Am I overthinking this?

Saturday was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too hot for jackets, 40°C. But seen we were celebrating the 20th birthday of our virtual WW2 squadron, decided to go with this:

It works well for riding the bus to work and the pockets can fit all the associated junk I need to take with me (the chest pockets are surprisingly roomy yet are tailored in such a way that when empty, sit very flush with the chest)

Not really a jacket I'm wearing today (it's 95 F / 34 C today), but rather trying on. This is a Himel Bros. Cossack jacket I got from @Silver Surfer in exchange for my ELC Rough Wear (and some cash to make up the difference in value).

Just a phenomenal jacket. We don't see too many jackets from Himel around here, but they really are a knock-out. I'm just trying not to get too attached, because we're not totally sure the ELC RW will be long enough for Vic, so there's a good chance I'll be sending this one back in a week.

GW Acme / Aero. Taken after sunset this evening before we cast off our togs and joined in the local midsummer frolics and celebrations around a huge bonfire in the woods (I may have made the last bits up). For some reason in low light the phone camera tends to make some finishes appear a lot more glossy than they actually are....

I'm actually wearing a T shirt too ...shock horror!
