Thought I'd give the Aero Cheyenne an airing today, it's made in, quite frankly ridiculously, heavy steer hide, I'm definitely more of an A-2 weight sort of leather chap these days.

Yep, Burt, Natalie and I went in on making the Sky King together, and as part of it we sourced our own fur from a mouton fur coat that we got on eBay for about $20. With the shipping to Pakistan, I think we each ended up spending about $16 total. The result was the nicest mouton collar I've ever handled, except for my Buzz Rickson B-15. I highly recommend sourcing some of your own materials when buying from Shawn.

The mouton on my FS B-10 is much nicer than I expected but in general I prefer darker furs with a slight orange tint...(Yes, Trevor...I know... please behave ;-) ).
