unlike the vintage ones that can be a bit tight and restrictive

Yesterday I switched around to the Aero. I can’t get along with it yet. It’s made from a slightly thicker Vicenza batch than standard; have thought of selling it, but it just needs to be worn. They look great once broken in.

It’s a grey chilly day here and perfect weather for a not usually seen jacket here in the US . It’s an original post war 1974 German Kriegsmarine Officers jacket commonly seen in period photos worn by German submarine officers. It’s complete with the original warm liner .

I was working at my desk at home today, so no time outside. Thought I'd show off a jacket that arrived a few weeks ago: Five Star's latest version of the A-1.

Russet brown capeskin, maroon thread, and russet wool knits. It's slightly shorter in the sleeves than I normally wear, but that seems part and parcel of the more fitted look that I associate with the A-1. Overall, I'd say this is quite good for a budget option.
