Quasi new about the M48 . The original soles were broken so had to resole them but the leather sole broke too ! My Cobbler had to replace all the leather sole and rubber too . In parallel he had to make a total make over with the soles of a pair of 1943 jump boots ( I'll make a post about it in the thread "what boots ...." . here are some pics , not all of them . And , about the Goddwear Bronco , I'm trully in love with it !!! And wait for the next I placed order on with J C ( no Christ !!!! ahahah ! ) , a RW 233780 . But John is a very busy man !!

Yeah - i really love that parka - and especially the A2 i got from my wife - 3rd week in a row when i try to wear her every day ...

I try low-carb and artificial sugar - always around 100 kg / 1.90 mtr / 61 yrs but still feel kinda "stuffed" and try to drop some weight anyway ...

To older you get the more difficult it is to loose weight - at least that's my impression
The Parka is not so easy to wear at rthe beginning ,I'm not used to wear white , but on you it's really cool ! About the weight and shape I totally agree ! In fact like you i'm 1m90 100.kgs , make the yoyo without regim but just some chocolat porn periods and calm down vegetables , fruits . I will see if I'll be sharp as you in my 61th ! For the moment , 55 with 60 push ups every morning : 30 before shower and 60 after and a walking 30 to 60mns everyday and flexibility exercises. I live in a lttle 4 stairs building without lift , last stair so good for the cardio ! These are the only exercises I do . Must say that before my 40's practiced the Churchill's sport philosophy !!! I'm not trying to loose weight , just not get more should be sufficient.

Top quality like you said , the coast ... not really important , these boots are very special to me and rare . Comparedwith the price of modern heritage boots that price goes from 800$ to 1500$ , spending some money to give a new life to these old beauties makes sens , IMHO ! In fact for example , the M48 were at 300$ aned the restauration ( soles that I bbought from ATF incuded ) was at 250$ "grosso merdo". So I have a quasi new pair of 1957 "historic" boots for 550$ , it's really worth the price . Same quality modern boots would be the double. I taljed with my cobbler that was saying that this kind of wuality construction is very rare in the modern era.

I was expecting a much higher price for the resto!

Today's prices for quality footwear skyrocket into the abyss so 550.- seem reasonable to me for such a pair of boots ...

I don’t want to met anyone wearing same jacket/ pants in real life.
I was avoiding wear A2 many years for that reason, until I found out I rarely met anyone wearing A2 in real life.
I am waiting somebody make affordable Para-marine jacket or pants. Because the full set looks both German and French Style.
I got it , understant what you say and feel quite the same . In fact I never saw any body wearing a P44 in Paris and during my travels , even A2 !! The most common are denim but about HBT military clothes and even old boots like Corcoran and so , if I crossed the way of 1 or 2 guys wearing this type of clothes it's the edge of the world ;)
Btw , what do you mean by "para-marine" jackets and pants ??

And, I already met somebody wearing Gizemo’s product, in real life, within 2 meters distance.
But, lucky for me, they are not the same type.

R McC are sometimes over priced , I think . But I saw a P42 "Duck hunter camo jacket Bronson size avalaible from 38 to 42 . 97€. Soldier of Fortune too , the entire uniform , if you mean the P42 : https://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/pattern-1942-usmc-p42-camouflage-jacket-light-tone.html
I have P42 during mid 2000s , first generation repro in China, they are still wear-able now,.
But, I want better quality one, and not expensive as RMC or priced priced.

And for para marine jacket, I am willing to pay more, just not as much as RMC.

Only Real McCoy made them, if my memory was correct.

Actually SM Wholesale has them currently in stock:
