The Fosters are notorious for haveing a small high waistline. Probably why The Little Man's wardrobe people chose it for the famous jacket.

My two L.W. Fosters 46” and 48” are very roomy even arround the “ belly “ area…
I have the same (46”) from Star and Edmund Church (46”) they are much much less forgiving for the post Thanksgiving “self inflicted damages “.
