Aah the infamous "epaulettes positioned too far to the front noble house horsehide A2 jacket"

Was my first repro A2 also but the lack of Authenticity always annoyed me and I swapped it after a few weeks for my Eastman Rough Wear 1401. Man back then I thought that Eastman is the most expensive jacket I'll ever buy... oh boy, how naive I was back then.

If you can't see the epaulettes from the back they are too far forward.

This is my display. The mannequin has an old Avirex A2 and the Headwind Bronco A2 and a At the Front B10.

I like the color and the leather! What I really like is the curve in the zipper/windflap made by snapping the collar. You see this on so many originals but rarely if ever on a high end repro.

Yes the main zip is replaced. Took me a long time to find an original slider. It came from a kit bag zip. Almost NOS. I didn't want to replace it with something less than authentic original. It's a AM Air Ministry, matches the crown logo on the sleeve zips. Just not the same anodized finish. I wouldn't ever find that I don't think. It took years and years literally to find something that matches. Works great, and I think this is my best jacket. I have some other ones that are really great, but this one, I would not sell.
