What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Another great original and in wearable condition to boot. Wear it i good health, @Tattoo A2. What can you tell us about the jacket? Known provenance?
I got this jacket about 25 years ago or more, the lining was almost gone as well as the knits. It was just a shell more or less. I got a hold of Eastman leather who I had bought a few jackets from at that point and they replaced the lining and cuffs for me. The name tag is my name and that went on there where an original once had been. Definitely a redye as I can tell. And in a size 46. No idea of any history on it though, put a few bucks into it, but its in good shape for its age.

Definitely a redye as I can tell.
Question: is that just because of the darker coloration in patches of the leather, or are there tell-tale signs like dye on the lining, or thread that is indistinguishable from the color of the leather?

I ask because the leather on that contract was prone to darkening, for whatever reason. @Silver Surfer has/had a beautiful 18091 that was definitely not a re-dye that looked very similar to yours.

I will double check the jacket again later when I get home, but Im pretty sure you can see the dye marks in the inside of the pockets Jan.

Well I must have been thinking of a different jacket, I was mistaken, my jacket is not a redye, I checked in the pockets and there is no sign of a dye job, must have it confused with another jacket I owned at one time, love all the photos of the originals showing up guys, nice.
