another of my lesser worn jackets for me today...ELC B-15A.
had a rather dull meeting at the airport today in preparation for some audits that come up in March and April so an easy wearing, but warm jacket was needed and the B-15a fit that bill perfectly

on a sidenote, I saw how much ELC charges these days for a new B-15a!
one of our pilots asked me about the jacket and when I told him the basics, he was curious how much it would cost, so we checked the ELC homepage...
let's say we were both mildly shocked.... I don't think they sell much of these jackets nowadays to European customers at least....

to be honest, I would have no problem to pay what they charge for any of their comparable leather jackets like the B-3 or the ANJ-4 if I would really want one, but I think I would not get a B-15a new from them for that price.
and 2nd hand they only show up very rarely in sizes I could wear.... so I consider myself lucky to have one and having paid considerably less for it back when I got it 2nd hand som years ago...

During period between 2002 and 2010, their fabric shell jacket cost between GBP 325 to GBP 375. I forgot that was a B-15(A) or B-10.
