to answer your question - yes, I can layer.
in fact I was wearing a thin long sleeve and a roll neck pullover under it.
size of the jacket is a 44R, the largest size BR does for that Tanker as far as I know.
she is rather short in the body but the fit is really relaxed and very comfortable.

1950's Lee denim jacket over an original sz 44 Rough Wear 1401p and Eastman B-2 cap.
