It’s been warm enough for the ass-free AVI M-422a on Wednesday, but temperatures have lowered significantly since then.

So it’s the down-filled Holubar parka today:

They been going for some time, I think they made the parka worj by De Niro in the Deer Hunter........

..........although I'd expect in that garish orange colour it would have scared off any deer long before he got in rifle range LOL

All deer hunters in the US (at least WI & IL) have to wear blaze orange to be visible to other hunters.

The deer can't distinguish the color because they're color blind.

Yep, and if you live in the areas where hunting occurs, it's strongly recommended to wear orange whenever you're outdoors as well, for obvious reasons.

Utterly freezing here today but I had an urge to wear an A-2. So I wore one with a bloody great parka over the top.

First time for everything.

I do the same thing myself when I’m up north in freezing temperatures. It really works well.

Same up here. Same colour as a windsock. International orange. Only problem is there’s no law against hunters being colour blindjust don’t wear your bullwinkle hat with the antlers.

It’s a size 40. The spec label was removed at some point but it has a inspector tag marked 40
