Good evening my friend! I received the jacket (M-422A Mexican goatskin) today, thanks for the note. It got here quickly. Unfortunately it is a bit too big. I boxed it up and am sending it back to JC. At least I got an up close look at the goatskin and JC’s superior workmanship. I’ve already told him I’ll be buying another one soon that is my size and hopefully a Star Sportswear A-2 in the near future. I’ll post some pics of the jacket. Good talking with you my friend and thanks again!

GW Mexican goatskin M-422A from “entertainment.“ A bit too big. Hoping to get a size 40 soon. Great workmanship from JC though. First one I’ve gotten an up close look at.

Honestly, both of those are too long for you - especially the GW, but really the Eastman is as well. A good flight jacket fit should be just a little below your belt loops.
Really? I always thought that the Naval jackets were supposed to fit at that length. I know that A-2s are made with a shorter torso because of the uniform pants being made so high waisted back in the 30s and 40s. Great! Now I gotta buy more M422As!! HA!

Actually, looking again, the Eastman isn't too bad. Maybe it's just next to the GW it looks long. Also the slightly upward-looking angle makes that G&F repro look especially long. So, I retract my previous statement. Definitely worth buying more Navy jackets though. ;)
