While thinking that in a few weeks the weather will come to wear an A-2 here, you think about putting it away. :D

Still a nice jacket and perfect fit ! ;)
Thanks, Saint-ex yes this is definitely my Grail in A2, couldn't ask for better. As it wears, this jacket gets scuff marks, some scars from my dogs claws, car belt's marks and Cessna and Zlín belt's marks... soft and comfy like pajamas.
So yes, for the last few days this beauty and I have been enjoying the warm to soon give way to warmer jackets.

I don't want to derail the thread further but yes, very lucky in that was an impromptu flight from a rather historic military establishment that I used to be associated with some years ago. I say Tiger Moth but technically speaking she is a converted Queen Bee..

I read this once, flight in an open-cockpit Moth is a heady cocktail of Cecil Lewis, W.E. Johns, Gillespie Magee and Saint Exupéry. Amen

It was years ago and the cancer and chemo has played havoc with my memory so I really can't recall the circumstances...that said nor can my wife! What I do recall is it was an unexpected personal offer and of course one I could not refuse, a sort of "come on grab your kit and we will go" kind of thing.

Happy memories though Steve!

Probably the last warm week here and last A2-weather before cold, doggy walking in lovely Dubow, apologize for angle the phone was held by my dog.

Platon's Ja Dubow. Very special jacket.

Very special jacket, yes. I know its has already been said on this board, but personally, I think that Platon nailed the color of his Dubow. Lately, I've been focusing on jacket color from original images and my Platon Dubow is spot-on. Especially after a couple of years of usage. In fact this repro is only getting better!
