Funny you should say that- I'm unsure of the fit of this jacket- possibly because unlike the G-1s I usually wear I can sure feel it a lot more and secondly- it is almost TOO perfect a fit- the minute there is movement sleeves ride up. A lot of this is caused by the tight Japanese knits. This jacket has all the things I wanted when I collected back in the day- substantial leather and a perfect pattern. In many ways the jacket seems so like an original to me- a kind of new original- no artificial ageing and all the parts NOS (except zipper teeth). But somewhere in the back of my head a little alarm bell goes off- "It's too small- it's a VLJ fit"...

It's funny though- often Hollywood A-listers seem to wear crappy looking jackets- expensive or not. Some wear originals as we've seen but you almost never see high quality repros amongst them.

Crap IMO- I wouldn't pay $100 for any of these $5000 jackets. OK- I'd buy the Fight Club jacket for $100- I think it's a good 70s jacket.

I thought it was the Fight Club jacket. Anyway- at my local vintage store those 70s leather pimp jackets were $50 until very recently.

I remember those 70's pimp jackets came in all colours but usually in the UK bright tan, Burgundy, grey and black haha with that classic huge collar
