What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Haven’t posted in a while but couldn’t resist sharing this one. The goatskin is the lightest and most supple leather I’ve ever held. I’ve always thought the no-creases in the arms was bs. Turns out I was wrong. The thinness really makes the drape, drape oooh la la.

1958 LW Foster, 1 of 3000 jackets, 1 of 500 in sz 36 (3000 divided by 6 sizes). I believe JFK had one of this contract and one ‘62 Irvin B Foster.

Just look at that grain!

Oh don't get me wrong, it certainly gets cold, especially when the wind blows straight off the Atlantic, but I live on the edge of the levels so most of the snow and storms go right over, breaking on the hills.

Temps dropped here today, not desperately cold but a fair bit cooler than it has been hereabouts lately. Family all spit and polished up as we were out for lunch to celebrate my son's birthday. SWMBO & daughter smart as usual and me clad in a rather spiffy tweed sports jacket but the quickly nipped back in and grabbed one of the Aero Irvin's.
