What is your favorite A2 contract (or contracts)?

Dubow 1755 for overall appearance;

I am not sure I have "a favourite" contract, particularly since I have tried samples of so few on. I can only say that, with my (very) limited experience, and given those contracts I have tried jackets of, I tend to favour the Aero 16160. Very classic and ageless WW2 profile, as told by JC himself. And I tend to agree with that. Easy-wearing, comfortable, a bit short on the torso (which makes it comfortable when worn in an aeroplane's cockpit), with a mix of old features of Aero's contracts and some newer ones, and it is simply beautiful to look at.

1 more that deserves a mention, one of the more rare but one of the sharpest patterns - Knopf!

the aero 16160 contract seems to be somewhat popular. with that in mind, I will dig out my original that was cloned by jc for his gw reproductions of the 16160 contract.

When it comes to originals, I really like how the Spiewak and Rough Wear 1401 fits. With reproductions it's Eastman Monarch and Good Wear Rough Wear 18091.

I had a chinwag with John (Chapman) awhile back and he told me the Poughkeepsie was one of the most comfortable A-2s to wear yet one of the most flattering in terms of how it looks, so the best of both worlds.

My GW order will be a Poughkeepsie (my place is on hold until I wear something out or lose one). The collar and the pocket shape are lovely too.

For some bizarre reason, probably the most underappreciated contract whilst being one of the nicest.

That's awesome you will get one ordered, and what JC said about it. I think they look great. Fwiw the comfortable fit is appealing to me, and the underappreciated factor makes them even more desirable.
