Not a bargain but is the jacket suits you and you are happy with it why not

For this price I would prefer a used repro like Fivestar with is not fully accurate but better than Avirex.

But again, if you like the wear effect and back (splited) panel with art, go for this.

Cockpit also happened to be the name of Avirex’s store in NYC and for a brief period one in Oxford St, London! Both had full size mock ups of half a T6 Texan/Harvard a/c that hung from the ceiling and ‘merged’ into the walls!! Even back then in my less wise stage re flight jackets, it was clear their gear was more aimed at the general fashion buying public.
