That brings up a good point. Since from what I gather, info/documentation is skinny on lots of wartime gear, how many things that are accepted today as "never existed" did, but we just don't know about them?
Given wartime and rationing and generally difficult times for acquiring things, it would be interesting to know what's out there or completely gone that we don't know about? Have a few pints and ponder that
