It's that same 14k 1946 Bubbleback that I've posted before. The one that belonged to one of my friends' father. It had been sitting in a closet for a few decades before it was gifted to me last Christmas. I had it serviced by Tommy at Oyster Time Service last spring.

Thanks Burt. I try to wear it at least 1 or 2 days a week. I went a solid week straight with it a couple weeks back. It may be my favorite watch that I own.

It’s too nice to scuff up with daily wear.

I typically try my best to wear the watch when I have on long sleeves on to cover it. Less likelihood that I'll bash it against something or damage the crystal. It's still far from perfect though. It's been polished at some point and lost the areas of brushed finishing. There's plenty of minor scratches and patina on the case too.

This watch actually belongs to my wife. I gift it to her for her 40th since they were made the same year.
