The patch could be an unofficial variation of the 8th Photo Recon Sq., but I cannot confirm that.
As far as wearing it, if you can post more pics of the jacket and some close-up from the shoulder hole, maybe we can have a better idea. Some repairs are not noticeable and some others might even affect the value of the jacket. That area of the shoulder is complicated in most cases.

As a side note, my first wearable A-2 was from this contract, the jacket was mint and super solid but sadly, it felt a bit tight on me.

Hi guys, I took better photos of the parts you were talking about (patches, sewing, zip, shoulder hole etc...)

Zip is beautiful, this spring keeping it low is cool.
Seems like the hole in the shoulder isnta real hole but stiches that went loose, so I guess easily restichable, I guess I should restich it if I get it, right?

That hole can be restitched and if it's done properly, there shouldn't be any evidence of the repair. I would also apply vaseline to the leather, because it seems to be a bit dry (specially the shoulder area). The vaseline will restore the condition of the jacket and then you are good to go. As for the stitches inside, I'm only able to see the stitch holes but they seem to be empty (no thread?) on the 8 ball patch, can you do a close up?

Well what a twist!!!
Jorge the8ball jacket you found, was in fact this very one.
So basically what happened is I tried to look at the 8ball jacket you mentioned:
And I noticed the patch is in fact the exact same, has the same white marks on the left, then looked closer and boom, the rest of the jacket is the same. So I contacted the seller, he told me he sold to a guy owning a shop and thats where my friend bought it! the thing is that the jacket had not shoulder AAF patch as you can see on the original pictures, meaning the shop owner who bought it and sold it to my friend added the patch...
anyways, Id have to remove the patch if ever I boguht the jacket, but now im wondering if ofther parts are maybe not legit.
I dont have a closeup of the 8 ball patch, but Ill put one of the original jacket:

Im now adding again the pic I took from the inside stiches of the 8 ball.

I wont be able to have other/better pics so I will have to decide with the current info I have

It seems indeed there are no threads. Though Im not seeing any thread either on the 8ball leather patch. Could it be possible that leather patches were glued and not stiched?

Overall do you think its becoming too shady or still an interesting jacket to get?

thanks,
Gui

It is getting a bit shady but also depends on how much they want for it. If it's 500-650 $ I would say get it, because the jacket seems to be a good wearer (after repairing the shoulder), but if they want over 1000 I would pass because the authenticity has been compromised.
