About nose arts or about Pin ups?

About pin up, the best choice to begin is the book: The Great American Pinup by Martignett and Meisel: it covers 1920's to 1960's artists with a lot of very nice illustrations...huge number actually, the book is quite heavy . It's a good start to have a full picture and then, concentrate on the artist you prefer by more specific books.

Working on my own jacket. When I bought this A-1 style Evisu jacket, it was issued with a Japanese Navy patch. I wanted to make it more personnal and made few sketches of a chinse style Dragon fighting a Tiger. So I began this miniature work

Paint job began, it will be a long process on paper as it doesn't react like leather. It's supposed to be done on an A-2 after approval.

Yes, I made some research on this very one P-38 during Summer 1944 (been asked to paint the 28624), I manage to find an original picture, stripes were only on boom's sides. Stripes' sizing and shape are not yet finished. I'm doing now another one but with watercolors and better draw P-38.
