Personally I really like the slim toe look, but that might just be me. It also might have something to do with my having narrow feet and low insteps.

Ahahaha ! The problem is when you share passion with other men of good taste you ave to be in alert all the time , Like for ....GW ??!!! If he is a manufacturer then perhaps he can build some shoes on demand ?? Silly question I guess .

Not a bad comparison though. Both use only first-rate materials, are popular among niche hobbyists with an eye for detail, and are very hard to get.

Nothing to correct - different looks appeal to different people. And I don’t think all companies made them using such an extreme last that back then.
