Luv them patched jackets. Nice.
I noticed the 'vintage' pin-up girl on the wall behind your right shoulder.

Man I love the good ole G-1s all patched up like that! Nomex just does nothing for me. I'm glad I was in the Navy back whene everyone wore G-1s! Nice Jacket!

Here's my old jacket,

Nice jacket Wild Bill! I wonder how many others here have vintage leather jackets that were originally issued to them personally!

Here is my Dad's G-1. USNA '49, flight school 1950. Retired 1975. Flew lots of planes incl. A-4, F-8, A-7, and was in the first hurricane squadron in the early 50s (I think 1950-1):

Pics aren't the best because he took them ) The collar is still there and only has a small bald spot. He thought I only wanted pics of the patches so he zoomed in on them and left off the pics of the full jacket. This is the jacket that got me addicted to G-1s! I have a "dedication" G-1 (1961 B series in sz 44) that I made up with a bunch of his old patches (some are the same as on the jacket in the pics above, others are patches that never made it on his jacket).

The jacket resides in his closet... 82 years young and still driving fast cars!
