The new EBay method for getting paid … anyone experienced it yet ?

I gave up on selling or buying stuff on there a long time ago as it's utterly hopeless now. You're better off buying and selling through specialist boards like here - right target audience and no EvilBay crap.
Like I said earlier, I do ok on European and Spanish sites, especially the vintage ones, and no massive chunks to pay after a sale, but I know where your coming from

Same "Pain in the a...e" over here as well: fees meanwhile almost hit the 10% mark when selling on ebay and the delay with getting your money is another "pain in the butt" ...

There was a time when selling via EBAY was fun - meanwhile the fun is long gone with that potentiell buyers giving ridiculous offers for good stuff and all the hassle with payment and fees

not funny

Sold some excess Blade-Tech holder stuff I bought off eBay some rime ago. Expected to get the funds. Then pay eBay their cut. Nup. 13% deducted. Then had to wait over a week until my account was verified. Nearly 25 years on eBay with the same account mind you.

Selling a jacket would be better via FB or VLJ.

Thomas has hit the nail on the head too - selling and buying stuff on the Bay used to be fun. Now it's about as fun as a root canal.

If I was selling a jacket I wouldn't dream of doing it on there now. Only VLJ.

I sell jackets too on a European selling site, always the French grabbing them

I recently sold a jacket for $600.00 on Ebay, the fees were $70.00 then they notified me I reached $600 in sales, now I will receive a 10/99 to pay tax. I already paid tax on this item, and now being taxed for the sale. Ridicules!

They lost me as a seller the moment you had to link your bank account to them.
I checked with the bank, I can only get a separate account for internet stuff if I have at least two thousand dollars in it.
Pass. I only bid/buy there now.
