Now that @33-1729 and I have been working on renovating the Navy Jacket thread, I have even greater respect for the work Gary Eastman put into his A-2 guide. Making our Mighty A-2 Guide was much easier because Eastman only put verifiable information into his guide. Any myths were either debunked, or if he couldn't debunk them, he denied them oxygen. It meant that we had a solid foundation to build upon.

I wish that was the case with Navy jackets. Even supposedly reliable books that have great pictures and pretty good contract data are wildly speculative, and prone to parroting common opinion. As we've been getting into the project, @33-1729 has been shooting down bad speculation left, right, and center.

i have 2 questions _1st : Is there any PDF version of that Eastman guide ? It seems the Bible that everybody wants but never get . Like a lot here I searched the net . The one who have it are lucky or they just got it at the right time
-2nd : A lot of people seems to search for it , so , release a reissue could be a good idea , on pre order. I think not to be the 1stone to think about that ...
