Seeing as how the Greeks don't want no freaks, that is pretty freaky. Lol.
Hello, I want to share some photos of the original WW2 period M-1943 US Army Field Jacket I have acquired.

I once bought an M43 jacket reproduced by the Chinese brand gizemo. The replica is the 1944 model, to be honest, I think his quality is not different from those Japanese brands, but the price is very high.Hello, I want to share some photos of the original WW2 period M-1943 US Army Field Jacket I have acquired.

Looks like you have skipped one jacket regarding the transition from m43 to M50 or you are not awareInsofar as I'm aware, the US M-50 field jacket is an M-43 with liner buttons added. Replaced by the zippered M-51
Correct… the sling shown in the label is a giveaway for a mid of 1945 version… hence Korea and not WWII.Looks like you have skipped one jacket regarding the transition from m43 to M50 or you are not aware
The label with illustration of the drawstring was used in the (very) late war ( feb. 1945 and onwards) 370E version of the M-1943 Jacket. I have a M-1943 jacket with such a label, dated March 13, 1945. Probably not used in WW2 but not a post 1948/49 version.Correct… the sling shown in the label is a giveaway for a post 1948/49 version… hence Korea and not WWII.
You are right, I stand corrected. The label with illustration of the drawstring was used in the (very) late war ( feb. 1945 and onwards) 370E version of the M-1943 Jacket. I have a M-1943 jacket with such a label, dated March 13, 1945. Probably not used in WW2 but not a post 1948/49 version.
Some good reading on the subject: http://www.usww2uniforms.com/370E.html
Best regards
Maybe copies have their own fanatics, but in my personal opinion any repro is just a repro without any collectable value, big no no in my opinion, copies are aweful, even these JP made.I once bought an M43 jacket reproduced by the Chinese brand gizemo. It's a copy of the 1944 model. To be honest, I don't think its quality is any different from those Japanese brands, but its cost performance is extremely high.
I paid about $240 for this jacket
