Oh, and Diamond Dave did some USAAF t-shirts years ago, where you could customize the base/field and have a name & service number on the back. I got one for Salt Lake Army Air Base with my grandfather's name and enlisted service number and wore the hell out of it.

Tri-City Atoms is new, Tahiti is NOS 1990s, TN High School is NOS 1978, and Champion Spark Plugs and orange striped are made by a Chinese company called Non-Stock (very satisfied with their wonderful heavyweight cotton)

And my personal favorite -- 490th Bomb Squadron, 341st Bomb Group, 10th Air Force "Burma Bridge Busters" 1980s t-shirt. The back has an awesome design featuring a B-25H destroying the Myittha River Bridge in January 1944. The pilot's name is Capt. A.J. Boutselis, and after some digging, I found this:

From Yank Magazine, April 1, 1945:
"Two weeks after Maj. Erdin's discovery, the 490th got sweet revenge when Capt. Angelo J. Boutselis of Dracut, Mass., destroyed the Myittha River bridge - the target which the entire squadron had missed before - with only two bombs, using the new hop technique. Boutselis was so happy he conducted prayer-meeting hymns over the interphone and twirled his 10-inch mustache all the way back to the field."

Captain Boutselis may have had the most impressive 'stache in the entire CBI (sorry couldn't find a higher resolution picture)

Non-Stock does have some quite nice, heavy cotton tees.. Great graphics which do not crack, or fade with washing. Most who read my posts here know that I'm on a tight budget, and picked these up from AliExpress last spring for between $15-25.00 USD a pop:

Love Non Stock too. I have one of their striped pocketed t-shirt (see the topic about the jeans), and it's really great. Cheap price, but keeps its shape well and is well put together. I'll dig some more soon!

want to talk about the effect of the outlook of the width of the opening of the collar and sleeves length. Compare the look of the off

the rack vs widen collar & shortened sleeves & those period look. IMO, I think wider collar look smarter.
