What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

The color of the fabric doesn't bother me, I find it close to what you can see on some originals.

( although you sometimes have to be wary of the color rendering of old Kodachrome photos).

The shearling gods must have smiled on me today. It never made it out of the 30's, so I changed into the D-1 after making it home from work. Still a little bit chilly, but it's mainly due to the cotton/ acrylic blended sweater up top and not having any base layers under my jeans. After owning a 1/4" shearling jacket, I do think that I'll likely end up getting a B-3 from JC, rather than a B-6.

Lucas, please do not think me too over-complimentary but I just love seeing dudes look dope in these jackets. You sir, kill it every time my friend, the fit, the way you wear them... most importantly that AURA, badass!!!

I hear you on the warmth up top, you think any shearling and you're set but sometimes it starts to bump down near 0c you still feel it. I reckon wool up top underneath would do it with a D-1/B-6. I know wool sweaters etc. can get pricey but a worthy investment to have some to reach for in the wardrobe.

And for consolation, you've probably heard me mention I live in Ireland - a pretty damn mild, all-year round consistent climate, being cocooned somewhat just off the edge of the Atlantic. Sure, some sub 30's days/periods in the depths of winter but nothing to qualify as consistently extended freezing periods... and yet.... I've somehow managed to justify BOTH an AN-J-4 and a B-3 at some point.... lol....:p:cool:
