that's gonna hurt Aero sales by a bunch, the other shills better step up and do their thing. ;)

It does kind of makes the "shill battlefield" a bit uneven at the moment, though I doubt it will hurt Aero's sales much.

Hi everyone
I'm the one who posted the pics of the experimental finish jacket.
As I said , I picked it up for peanuts from Aero as it was listed as a failed attempt to create a particular effect.
Can't say I've worn it much as I agree it does look like one of those dodgy 80's aged jackets ,
simply kept it as a one-off collectors item.
The weight and grain of the goatskin are interesting , just a shame about the aging effect.
I thought it received just as many non-complementary remarks as complementary ones on FL .
At least back then Aero were happy to sell their imperfect jackets at a decent price rather than the small discount that they now seem to offer.
I simply posted the pics to see what opinions came up , wasn't aimed at extolling Aero's virtues..
Still can't get to grips with the animosity that sometimes crops up on these 2 forums ..
maybe I'll work it out one day ?

Please stay around we are more friendly here than than it may at first seem. I can remember a hide called Crazy Horse. It was marked and was very extreme, not sure if Keen still has it for sale as it was a few years ago.

At one point I did consider using a combo of Pecards on the lighter areas and a light scuffing/sanding of the darker areas to try and even it up .
As it is , it's quite fun to see peoples reaction to it ;)
