Great new chapter, let me add something I showed from the aspect of the jacket itself already in a repro thread:
The handpainted patch of the emblem of the 751st Bomb Squadron of the 457th Bomb Group, based at Glatton, England. First the patch itself, that was painted by jacket artist Robin Mott (UK):
Then the patch on the jacket on its owner:
And here a mirror image of the owner, taking a picture of the emblem on the 457th BG memorial in the village of Conington (where the airbase was):
