Thanks for all the replys chaps. I'm pleased to say i got mine a fair bit cheaper than The Few version due to it being old stock. Another company should make one of these! its a very wearable pattern, the fleece length is similar to the D1/B6 and the collar is the smallest of the bunch. That coupled with a few really nice details makes it a winner.

I was wondering what zip would have been found on these originally? it has a repro talon which is quite nice but would it originally have had the blackened brass talon zip? does anyone make a brass talon? Mash don't have em.

Probably a blackened triple marked Talon or a blackened Conmar. You'd be hard pushed to find either but stranger things have happened.

I seen them with the M42 double marked Talons and also triple marked brass Talons. Sometime the zips were blackened.

thanks for that, I'd love to get hold of a couple of blackened talons for this one (one day) and for an impending GW monarch... I'll start keeping an eye out.

heres a quick pic of me and my daughter, the M444 is really breaking in nicely.. its so good i havent worn my D1 since it arrived, reckon it might be up for sale soon :)

thanks alot Skip! the shorter fleece makes it wearable virtually everyday in an English winter so its getting plenty of wear.
