Reflections on my first reproduction A-2

My first A-2 was a Cooper 50th Anniversary Commemorative edition (below jacket not mine)
I loved it, but that was the start of the sleeve length issue.

I also had an Avirex G-1, lived in this for a couple of years until an ex 'stole' it!

I then discovered Real McCoys NZ and back then, sent faxes back and forth lol
I wish I had pulled the trigger on one!!
Discovered ELC soon after... thats when the 'fire' really started...

I'll echo others and say thank you Marc. Acmedepot answered quite a few questions as I started to get interested in flights jackets. Having thought my Sports Pilot shop A-2 repro was pretty much the end of the story until then clearly I had much to learn. I still have that jacket, learnt to fly in it and I won't be parting with it. Goat but great with side access pockets and really hardy knits. It is an old friend but now I have other interesting choices. Too many really but hey ... I bet I'm not the only one thinking that.

My first A2 was also a Cooper (orange label). I even tried to adjust it with the help of my seamstress and not without success. Then I made a lot of good patches for it, but sold it in the end.
