Taken on September 21st 1942 at RAF Topcliffe in Yorkshire as the mascot of 405 Squadron 'Skipper' plays with 22yr old wireless operator Flight Sergeant Albert Martin Carter of the R on CAF.
Ten days after this photograph was taken Albert and Mary's son from Ontario was lost during a raid on Flensburg on October 1st aboard Halifax W7710 which crashed near Liehaus with Albert and his crew resting in Kiel War Cemetery

An ROC jet pilot. Sadly for him, later he was flying reconnaissance missions for CIA , and get shot down by Komi. After he was released from prison during 1980s, ROC government refused to provide any assistance to him, forced him lived in harsh conditions at hongkong, until he passed away during early 2000.
