Yep, he looks fantastic in this one.

Probably about 21 in that one. Still has that twinkle in his eye though. Wouldn’t trust him as far as I can throw him - unless I had to land an out-of-control plane. Then I’d trust him with my life.

I visited an bunker on Omaha beach a few years ago and the ceiling in the main room from where they observed and fought the allies landing was still black from American flame throwers.
It was terrifying to imagine what happened there back then...

It's a B-10, the shiny appearance is from the colorisation process that's been done.

Ok. I know I’ve seen that picture before in black and white. In his biography I think.

Yeah, I think I recall seeing it in there as well. The coloration really highlights his youth though.

I remember reading somewhere that him and bob Hoover were doing mock dog fights during some training and they finally packed it in. Neither one could outdo the other.
