This has been colourised but not too shabbily done (the fella who has done it got the Kiwi roundel blue right which is often stuffed up in colourisations).

Some of the blokes from RNZAF No. 30 Servicing Unit with a F4U-1 Corsair on Green Island, March, 1945...

Whilst I'm posting pics of my countrymen, some Kiwis on the road from Remini to Savio, on the way to the front. All tooled up with 2 Brens. A quite significant number of the rest of them will be carrying Tommy guns as Kiwi units loved them and as a result the NZ command purchased an enormous number of the Thompson submachinegun - bit of trivia, Kiwi infantry units carried the highest ratio of Tommy guns than any of the Allies, even the Americans. So there's probably quite a bit of automatic firepower in the back of that truck

I think this is one from the only series of photos which unambiguously shows an official ANJ3. An M422a without mouton. Somewhere there are pics of ANJ3s in crew photos also that I've seen.

Can one of you guys with an ANJ3 obsession start a thread with period photos of this mysterious jacket?

Indeed it is him with Major Dean Hess [a well-respected person]. Calling him a fascist is not smart ZuZu in my opinion. I hope you have some basic knowledge regarding war crimes committed by both sides [usually, some older people have]. Some war crimes there were committed by US GIs...

What is a bit interesting for any SS camo gimps, is that Task Force Kirkland [1] provided genuine SS uniforms [also from the Other units] for some of their members without removing "adlers". Hopefully, this can be the only link between South Koreans and German nazis. A few pictures:

Modern but a great photo nonetheless. Victoria Cross winner and NZSAS member Willie Apiata manning a 50 cal on a Kiwi SAS patrol in Afghanistan in 2004...

True, sadly ROK for a long time was ruled by high rank generals or the army had way too much power over politicians.
