It was indeed a German company, quite popular in Belgium also.Wasn't Hein Gericke a German company? Or was it just a "brand name" to look pretty on store fronts?
Many years ago a friend of mine bought a HG motorcycle jacket that was pretty sturdy -- I'd bet he still has it. Don't remember looking at where it was manufactured, though.
