I took bunch of pix to focus on the oddities of the monarch contract a-2. some other contracts have some of these variations, but no other contract has all of them. note the large collar. the shoulder seams are located under the epaulets, as against behind the sepaulets as seen in most a-2s. the extremely rotated sleeve attached to the body, which makes the inside seam line up with the wears thumb, not below. blackened talon zipper puller and zipper teeth, mated with a brown painted stopper box.the hh is in a pretty light color, and lighter yet where the sun has faded the hides. the hides are generally smoother type,, and are baby's bottom soft. it is tagged a size 44, but fits as a modern size 42 long....ish
