Indeed it is. Have collected bad experiences with them as i ordered my Kanaljacke a few years ago. Horrible annoyed communication and long waiting time...

Hello , i had not bad experience from Sm W from my 3 orders : all service shoes Type 1 and 2 . The 1st skill of the owner is not communication but way better than BK . Accuracy and quality are not top notch like WWII Imp or ATF but still very good. Cannot say for B 10 .

Odd. I have some GI uniform stuff and some double buckle boots by them. There wasn't a wait.

Got around to taking a few pics. I like the SMW jacket: it has a nice collar, alpaca liner, good fit, & quality wool knits in the right color. I'm usually a 46 in non-A-2s, but heard these were oversized so I found this pre-owned 44 and I like it for an accurate, period B-10 fit.

If I have any reservations, it's that the zipper on this one is sticky (I need to lube it), and the cotton shell feels thin, compared to the likes of a Bronson. Because it's thin it seems to get wrinkled easier. But I've seen some photos of originals that have the same vibe, so maybe this detail isn't inaccurate.
The only other repros I've handled are a Bronson and a QMI..
In addition to the thicker cotton shell, the Bronson was also puffier in general, and therefore didn't seem as oversized. The Bronson knits were also a little more robust. I believe Bronson has discontinued their B-10, as it's no longer on their website.
The SMW is better than the QMI in most areas, and I probably wouldn't recommend the QMI (De Brabander Mfg).
Hope that helps.
