I don't see any difference, both makers make to order ...

Roughwear said::lol:  Maybe so, but JC currently offers 16 different original maker A2s, which no other maker currently offers on their website.
Persimmon said:For those of you who have ordered this jacket be prepared for a "extra" wait in addition to the norm.
I was planning on being in the area on Thursday and was going into the factory to see the finished articles of the new RW coming off the line to hopefully let it sway me into a purchase.
Unfortunately they have hit some technical difficulties according to Alan so several weeks/month or more will be needed to get it right.
Hopefully soon but they do want it to be perfection which is fair enough so I guess we will just have to wait to see it.
And with the sun bursting alive in England at the moment its even getting hard to wear A2's so the wait is not a killer.

Any ideas what the 'difficulties' are? I'd like to think they'd let me know if the wait is extended too far being that I ordered one.

I received through a swatch last Saturday and the leather did look good.
So if they have the Leather (?) perhaps its the machinery (although would that not affect all jackets) or something with the pattern ?
Not sure if this is a common issue when a new jacket comes out.
When the 33 Werber came out did they have something similar. ??
I guess its best to get it spot on and I am hopeful that a superb jacket will be made.
Time is relative I guess.
Still happy you walked away from the other one ??

Slightly worrying I think.

Surely that should have been done before they started selling them. It's called R&D. What sort of outfit are they running ? :shock:John Lever said:It's on hold at the factory ' to see how the leather develops with wear '
