One suggestion Greg, paint the crowbar on the cockpit door interior grey green the same as the rest of it. Red crowbars are a modern health and safety thing and not wartime ;-)

Hi Greg,

Wartime Spit door crowbars were the same colour as the rest of the interior, so "interior grey green", never red. Red is a postwar thing. As another little bit of trivia they only began to be installed in February 1941 so before that they weren't carried.
