This is not finished yet, but can anyone identify the Huey unit? I have no idea what color the logo on the nose should be:

Thanks, but I still don't know what unit it should be. I doubt it's the crossed swords of the air cav.

Pilots of the 5/I "Puma" Fighter wing of the Royal Hungarian Air Force somewhere on the Eastern front in early 1943. The aircraft is a Messerscmitt Bf-109F-4. The pilot holding the propeller is fighter ace György Debrődy, who finished the war with 204 combat missions and 26 confirmed victories. On November 16 1944 he attacked a Yak-9 head on. The enemy plane exploded, but his last cannon shell hit Debrődy in the stomach. The Hungarian managed to crash land before he lsot consciousness. He recovered and re-joined his unit in 1945, but he wasn't allowed to fly any more combat missions.

Famous photo of a No.19 Sqn Spitfire Mk.I - early version with 2 bladed wooden prop. Typical example of why a bad quality photo remains just that, even when colorized.

Thank you Thomas, I used to live in Budapest, but now moved to Indonesia half a year ago. Would have been nice to grab a beer!
