For what it’s worth Jan - everything running nice and smoothly here U.K side, haven’t noticed any lag at all!I just had an idea thought, sort of a stop-gap measure, provided that Nathan says the slowness in Europe is out of our control. More soon - watch the skies.
You're trying to second-guess their MO like they're people. They're not - they're bots. It's pretty much all automated. If you shut down admissions to the VLJ for a month, then the day you open back up again is the day the bots will start posting again. As has been posted elsewhere, this kind of spam has been hitting web forums everywhere. The Fedora Lounge has the same problem, according to Nathan.For the love of Mike powers-that-be just put a halt on new member sign-ups for a month or two. These spammer prats will move somewhere else sharpish once they can't easily sign up here.
