While I don't usually carry a “Man Bag” I do carry one when going to gun, knife or Militaria shows for carrying around items I’ve purchased. The first bag is a repro WWI officers musette bag and shoulder strap. I got this one from “What Price Glory”

The other bag is a repro WWII Musette Bag that I personalized with my dad’s unit. While I don’t patch my jackets I like that you can make up these bags fairly easily with any unit you care to memorialize .

I often take my repro musette to collector shows, mocked up like the one for Associated Press artist Howell Dodd (took photos of it at the the museum nearest Omaha Beach in 2018):

But every now and then, I might take my helmet bag from my active duty days. I used to take this to work every day when I still worked in a big office before our company transitioned us to permanently working from home:
