Personally I would suggest the Lee 1943 WWII denim. If they're anything like other Lee Japan Archives denim, they are perfect copy cut repro's in killer hard wearing denim, and a good price. You can see 'em in the link belowCan anyone recommend a pair of selvedge jeans that are high waist-ed in the rise and are not not high priced and wear good .

HiHas anyone here had any experience of the Bronson denims
Also has anyone gotten a pair of there chinos, ideally both versions they do, to do a comparison
You always manage to make your pieces look so cool in your pics Grant. The 555 201's are such nice jeans. I had a pair and they were lovely. The only snag I found is that they were seriously undersized. I had a pair tagged 36 waist and hoped they'd be around 34 but when they arrived they were pretty much a 32 waist and I had to move them on the end. You got a great result with that pair!Keep an eye out on ebay, Facebook and Instagram for guys selling Valencia St 555 LVC. Every now and then, some nice denim still comes up at not crazy prices.Five years ago I bought these unwashed tagged LVC 555 '37 Cone Mills 201's dry with tags for $120 and have worn the hell of of them. No blown out crotch and worn pocket bags. The denim does not give up fades easily and wears like iron, unlike a lot of current Japanese denim. If you can find old LVC Japan, even better.
