Do you remember how much yours was new and when? I was thinking my first one in 85 was around 200 and the one in 88 was 300, but the memory has faded.

1987 paid about $245.00 . They offered seal and Russett . I got seal . The one I have now is Russett .

Whew -- okay, 3 years later and I paid $350 (plus or minus), but mine is HH.

I visited their Seattle store in the early 90’s back before I knew much and was impressed by the sheer volume of jackets in the room. But even then I knew a B 3 never had side entry pockets and no blood chits etc.

Here ya go chandler. Cowhide Avirex new in November 88. First time it’s seen the light of day since around 93 when I replaced it with a flightsuits horse. Doesn’t look as bad as I remember. Very squeaky View attachment 131427View attachment 131429

I’ve never had a complaint about the fit. As I said, fits like my Goodwear

The horse hide came out shortly after I bought my cow hide one, which pissed me off. I recall them evolving more after that. The pocket flaps got a dubow ish curve and the jacket started to look pretty good. But by then I had moved to flightsuits. I wonder when they peaked?
