I need your advice about my Eastman Perry B3

Well guys Gary got back to me promptly and agreed that my wear was not normal after only a few days. He apologized for it and wants me to either send the jacket back to ELC through HPA or directly myself to ELC. He said they will make it right. I'm going to see if I can send it after the season as we are well below zero here and I want to wear it daily. I also looked in the armpit area and the jacket has some balding spots there. Should that be happening? Here are the pics of those spots. Please advise on these new areas? I love the jacket......Is this normal wear?

I'm going to send my B3 back on Monday.....I love Gary Eastman and Eastman Leather Company......He really has taken the jacket manufacturing to a whole new level....No one makes a B3 like Gary.......

That should not be happening. Only time I have seen that before was on a bike saddle made by Fizzik with hair on cowhide that they told you would gradualy shed due to wear and generate a unique pattern. That should not happen with new sheepskin.

a number of you have emailed me and asked me to consider a 48 perry. i am going to ask Gary for this as well. my chest measures 45" but I have big shoulders from years of prior weightlifting. i now feel the 46 is too tight for me. so i think i need more shoulder room.

Hello Folks,

I am having the same problems with my Perry which I just received this past Friday 1/4. I am not posting to bash in any way. I love ELC's jackets, I am just looking for some advice and to share my story. The first thing I noticed was the wind flap was very rough and paper thin. I also have a Roughwear that is approx 3 years old. There is no comparison with regards to the Sheepskin. The rough wear feels very thick and very soft. Although the thickness is the same, the Roughwear just feels like better quality sheepskin. I am attaching photos of both.
