As the weather is cooling here, I'll be donning the Eastman Werber A-2 tomorrow,
and take the 'ol 1930 La Salle Roadster out for a spin.

Ok.. Ok... It was quite damp, and I'm old, and
none too interested in cleaning the La Beast.

Not an A2 fan, but regarding the knits issue I wonder if pulling the knits when taking off the jacket could be a factor ?
My A1 is extremely worn so I never pull the cuffs at all.

My dad had a surplus A-2 in high school (late 40s) and when I got my first repro he warned me about the cuffs becoming "floppy donuts" if I wasn't careful!

When you take off an A2 always reach up the sleeve and pull the sleeve off using the leather above the knits. Your knits will last a lot longer.

Have always done this. Also try to be careful with B3 cuffs they can rip if they are tight.
