I am rethinking my antipathy toward goatskin.

I really, really like goatskin. It many ways I think it makes a better jacket. Depends of course on how it's tanned, etc. Best to have one in horse, goat, and cow- just to be safe. Personally I hate not being able to indulge every jacket whim at a moments notice....

Goat is really something special. Wish I had JC stamp it with the AAF stamp but I forgot, Oh well another jacket to patch up. I actually think the goat will hold up better around the salt and sand of the seacoast. life is good when you have a few different jackets to choose from and always have one on the horizon.

Has the jacket arrived yet? I'd love to get your take on it. Pictures would be even better, although I am bad with doing those myself.

Got it and it looks great. Goatskin is smooth almost like horse. I think the new line of jackets will be a success. Hot day in New England today so I won.t be wearing just yet.
