When I received my Platon there was no charges. I was surprised. Anything I’ve got from Eastman was hammered hard with tax and duty.

I guess the only possible way around it would be if you had friends/family in the country of origin who may be able to send it to you as a ‘gift’? Unless the customs duty is applied regardless?

I'll find a way! Dunno which one yet, but I'll find a way! :-D

Finally got it stitched onto the G1. Kept it simple and reflecting it’s lineage without false provenance which I know some are sensitive to.
I like it.

One to avoid: Wings and Things
I ordered last September and they screwed up one name tag.
Since then periodic emails by me politely asking for a replacement - even offering to make another order and them including the right one with it as a compromise.
Result: Silence. Nothing. Nada. Rien.
