Agreed - I think the only thing holding back Shawn’s A-2 sales at the moment is that you have to really like that Doniger collar. A more classic style would go over like gangbusters. Maybe not the Aeros though, since I think you’d need a special leather to pull off that mottled look that the leather on the later Aeros has - Diamond Dave was all set to go on it, but then we haven’t heard anything from him in months. My vote (do we get to vote?) would be a Cable contract.

That's the thing which is holding me back to, I'm not terribly keen on the Doniger collar.

I'd personally love to see one of the iconic RW contracts. And in terms of Aero for me it's actually one of the earlier ones, the 16160 contract, such a great looking silhouette and apparently one of the most comfortable A-2s to wear.

And a 16160 comes in russet, so it avoids the challenge of matching the weird seal-fading-to-russet color of the 21996 and the 18775-P!

Not exactly on the B3 topic (which looks an excellent jacket in your latest photos today), but I'm impressed with the colour of the shearling. I am in the market for another D-1 jacket, and considered Five Star, but wouldn't have one with the white sheepskin.

Will you be offering the D-1 in the same yellow-ish shearling as you are now using for the B-3?

The best B3's I have owned have had cuffs that were quite tight so that my hands only just went through.
I would like to see a seal/seal version.

Thank you i ve been searching for an affordable B3 JACKET for years and the five star look so fantastic! Shawn did a very good joboffering this B3 at reasonnable price . Most of the jacket have seen are expensive an that is a bunch of money for wearing only a few months in the cold season. Do we have still cold season for the future? Europe is well know for a nice climate not too hot not too cold. So look like i have to save some money for my next B3.
