I had seen that thread, but having scoured the forums, I've found remarkably little substantive discussion of the various Five Star B-3s (they offer 8 models, not incl. the two "nude" versions). I've tried to ken the nuances of each with very little success. Any input would be appreciated of course, but I was specifically asking about the "Heavy Russet Brown Horse Hides Distressed Reinforcements" offered on only one model. They don't look all that "distressed" in the website pix (which is a good thing IMHO), and I don't put much stock in the photos on the Five Star website in any case (based on comments I've read), hence my query about whether anyone has this beastie irl. It seems odd that they only mention distressed HH reinforcements (as opposed to the whole jacket), but I'd probably mate 'em up to a different model anyhoo. I just thought it was worth tossing out there.
